These plants are currently available from Bellflower Nursery, Langham Hall Walled Garden, IP31 3EE.  Please email your order for confirmation of availability and postage costs. Alternatively, phone ahead if you plan to collect plants from the Nursery.

Abeliophyllum distichum - white forsythia.  Pale pink scented flowers fading to white in January and February.  Pretty all-year-round deciduous shrub, reaching 5ft (1.5m).  Light trim after flowering if needed. £5.50 in 1.4-litre pot.

Aquilegia 'Dove' (Songbird Series) AGM. Pure white columbine on 45cm/15" stems. Sun or light shade. £3.50 - 9cm pot.
Aquilegia 'Goldfinch' (Songbird Series) AGM. Large warm-yellow form with spurs. 30cm/12". £3.50 - 9cm pot.
Aquilegia vulgaris var stellata 'Woodside Blue'.  Golden variegated foliage. £3.00 - 9cm pot.

Aster x herveyi - one of the very best and earliest to flower (July) with a non-stop show of clear blue daisies  even in dry shade.  Chosen as a favourite perennial by Piet Oudolf in BBC Gardens Illustrated magazine.
Aster novi-belgii 'Dandy' - more compact Michaelmas daisy of purple-red, best in part shade.



Baptisia alba £5.00 1.4-litre pot. For well-drained site in good light.  Bee and butterfly attractant.  Chopping to ground level after first flowering encourages second and even third flush of fresh foliage and flowers through to autumn.  1.2m/4ft.
Baptisia australis AGM False indigo. £5.00 1.4-litre pot. Deep blue form for sunny well-drained site.  Repeat flowers if cut back hard after first flush. 

BERGENIA - ELEPHANT EARS
Bergenia 'Bressingham White' AGM £4.00 1-litre, £5.50 2-litre pot.  Brightener for shade.  Less bulky foliage than some of the coarser elephant's ears.
Bergenia 'Rotblum' Good winter evergreen foliage colour and deep pink flower spikes later winter.  £4.00 1-litre pot.

Carex buchananii AGM Warm orange-bronze grass, with colour in all seasons.  £4.00 1-litre pot.

Cephalaria gigantea.  Huge pincushion plant with pale yellow flower heads in mid and high summer.  Cut back hard after first flowering for fresh foliage and blooms.  Insects and butterflies love this plant.  IF you have the space do grow it.  Self-seeder.  2m/6ft £4.00 1-litre pot.

Cichorium intybus f album.  Really pretty perennial for dry spot in sun.  White-flowered form of chicory.  1.2m/4ft. £4.50 1-litre pot.

DICENTRA
Happy in light shade, these forms have shortish stems hanging with delicate 'lockets'
Dicentra 'Bountiful'. Compact form to 25cm/10".  Deep pink.  Tolerates shade. £4.00 - 9cm pot.
Dicentra 'Spring Morning'. Pale pink flowers for many weeks. £4.00 - 9cm pot
Dicentra 'Stuart Boothman' AGM. Dark pink with silvery-grey cut foliage. 30cm/12". £4.00 - 9cm pot.

DIGITALIS - FOXGLOVE
Digitalis ferruginea AGM.  Narrow bronze flower spikes. 1.2m/4ft.  £3.50 9cm pot.
Digitalis parviflora 'Milk Chocolate' Tall narrow spires of small, tightly-packed red-brown foxglove flowers with purple veining.  Sun or light shade.  1.2m/4ft. £4.00 for 1-litre pot.
Digitalis x mertonensis. Generally perennial foxglove the colour of raspberry smoothie. Seeds well. Prefers part shade. 60cm/2ft.   £4.00 1-litre pot.

Eryngium planum 'Blue Hobbit' - Really neat habit, perfect for pots.  Electric blue miniature flowers on compact mound of strong blue foliage.  30cm/12".  1-litre pot £4.50.
Eryngium planum 'Seven Seas' - A must for hot and dry spot.  1.2m/4ft mass of vivid blue stems, bracts and flowers. Beeand butterfly magnet.  2-litre pot £5.50.

Geum 'Borisii' - tangerine/orange single flowers from May to September. Sun or part shade. Compact stems to 30cm/12"/ £4.50 for 1-litre pot.
